Traffic Control is an exercise practised by BK’s, in order to strengthen their intellect and achieve management of their mind. The mind produces thoughts, which in turn produce feelings and unwanted feelings can interfere with wise decision making.
Traffic control is a simple technique practised, for one or two minutes at a time, during intervals in activities during the day.
The principle behind Traffic Control is that, when one decides, to focus the mind on a ‘place of stillness’ for the duration of the exercise. The choice of ‘the place’ is up to the individual but the outcome should be that I can do that for as long as I want.
